This is the entry-level Kindle and the smallest and lightest of the Kindle range, weighing in at less than a large paperback and storing up to 1400 books.
Like it’s bigger siblings, the Kindle Touch and the Kindle Keyboard it has access to millions of books, newspapers, magazines, games and docs. It also has Web access through the Experimental Browser and setting the Wireless capability to Off means your battery charge lasts around one month.
Kindle uses the E Ink Pearl technology which looks and reads just like real paper, even in bright sunlight.
The Kindle is so versatile - You don’t have to worry about packing a selection of books to take with you on a journey – simply download them to your Kindle and you’re good to go!
